Let there be music – and other stuff

Grandstand Stage:

More than 50 musical acts will perform at the fair this year with the biggest names on the Grandstand Stage.

Unreserved seats for most Grandstand Stage shows are free with admission to the fair. Reserved seats are available from Ticketmaster, (619) 220-TIXS or ticketmaster.com, and a few shows require separate tickets (as noted on the schedule below).

All shows are at 7:30 p.m. unless noted:

Saturday, June 14 at 1 p.m.: Reggae Festival with Steel Pulse, Pato Banton & The Mystic Roots Band and Pau Hana.

Sunday, June 15: La Arrolladora Banda El Limón with Los Rieleros del Norte

Tuesday, June17: Grand Funk Railroad and The Guess Who (dinner package available)

Wednesday, June 18: Sinbad

Thursday, June 19: Dwight Yoakam

Friday, June 20: Earth, Wind & Fire (separate ticket required)

Saturday, June 21 at 5 p.m.: Doodlebops Live!

Sunday, June 22: Los Huracanes del Norte

Tuesday, June 24: Third World with LaserSpectacular featuring the music of Pink Floyd

Wednesday, June 25: Cartel

Thursday, June 26: B.B. King (separate ticket required)

Friday, June 27: Fergie (separate ticket required)

Saturday, June 28 at 7 p.m.: Gospel Festival with Tye Tribbett & G.A. and Byron Cage

Sunday, June 29: Intocable with Los Horóscopos de Durango

Monday, June 30 at 8 p.m.: “Weird Al” Yankovic

Tuesday, July 1: Sugarland (separate ticket required)

Wednesday, July 2: Little Big Town

Thursday, July 3: Boston (separate ticket required)

Friday, July 4: KC & the Sunshine Band with a fireworks show at 9 p.m.


Solid Gold Series:

The Solid Gold Series presents artists from the 1950s and 1960s every Thursday.

Hour-long shows are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; no reserved seating. All shows are free with admission to the fair:

Thursday, July 3: Charo



Paddock Stage:

Shows start at 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays. No reserved seating. Shows at this venue are free with fair admission:

Wednesday: Rare Earth

Thursday, June 19: Cash'd Out (tribute to Johnny Cash)

Tuesday, June 24: Alika from Argentina with Quinto Sol

Del Mar Arena:
